Schools vs Cancer Coordinators are typically teachers or administrators at the school where the event is held, or they are able to meet with administration to secure permission for the event.

Bark For Life allows dog-lovers to support the mission of the American Cancer Society with their canine companions at their side. Bark For Life volunteers are responsible for leading all aspects of the event, including recruitment of the planning committee and participants, as well as securing access to a dog-friendly event site.

Relay For Life Corporate is designed for corporations to raise funds for the American Cancer Society through their work community. The Relay For Life Corporate Lead Volunteer typically works for an employer who has interest in this type of event, has access to the right people to secure permission to hold the event at work, and is empowered to recruit committee members, team captains, and participants from the worksite.
